I grew up on the great plains near Fargo, ND. The big sky and the never-ending landscape shaped how I see the world—and provided me with the subjects that now populate my collection of rugs.
Horses, fox, rabbits, and the occasional ballerina were among the first oil paintings that eventually become hand-knotted, wool and silk rugs. Prior to this venture, I was in the music business. Two of the compositions I produced are in the permanent collection of MOMA.
